Langkawi trip Day 2

The day started beautifully... The cool air helped worked our appetite as we trekked towards Pak Murah's quarters, full of anticipation of what our platter might hold.... Hm, as we climbed the stairs, the wafting aroma of nasi lemak assaulted the nostrils... hm, of course, kak Yah's nasi lemak could really put to shame any five-star hotel's offering...

Then, we began the journey to the jetty. After a half-an-hour wait, we boarded the jetty. Well, there was some tiff with other ticket holders, I was adamant that we stayed put, and true enough, turned out it was a fault of theirs...

As the ferry made its through the lulling waves... the spectacular view around us definitely was poetry to the soul!

Upon reaching the jetty, we were approached by touts offering us car rental services... we settled on Iswaras, with the whole lot of us squeezing into one, and En Ismail n En Nasa's families taking on another two.

We then made our way to the Sandy beach Resort. Once there, we immediately retreated for some rest. It was only at two that we managed to drag ourselves out of bed for the visits around the island.
