PGL 3 & Geng

I had quite a wonderful weekend, which somewhat started on Friday nite...
I caught PGL3 that nite... the show at Istana Budaya which started at 8.35 only ended at 11.30 (there's a 20-min break). Well, if anyone were to ask me how it was... what words would I use to describe it - awesome? fantabulous? Mesmerizing? Oh, ok, all of the above then!

It was simply captivating... everyone was super-good, the set was breath-taking... AC, Adlin, Stephen, they all swelled! But Tiara was simply beyond superb... Ok, my hands hurt from all the clapping! no wonder all the reviews raved on n on... It has also somewhat rekindled my love affair with theaters.. that somewhat stopped some years back... gotta find good ones to take my kids to!

And then, on Sunday, we managed to catch Geng the movie - the Upin & Ipin story that my kids r besotted by! The movie appeared a bit scary for Baby n Aisyah, but turned out ok in the end. From my perspective, it was a truly good Msian movie - with all the major races there, a lot of suspense, jokes (a few cliche n corny ones thrown in as well), with even a nyah thrown in...
Anyway, it was a brilliant effort, and judging from the audience's response n the full houses, it would be quite a box office! In fact, we had to go to Summit as all the tickets at Bukit Raja were all sold out! (all shows, k?)

I'm back!!!

Gosh, to think that I was away from blogging for more than 7 weeks... phew, how time flies...
n, where was I? So much has happened... Mom got a stroke scare, Perak has been recaptured by BN, Intensive English course at ADTEC has ended (that's what kept me occupied, actually), my UiTM classes have started... now into 6th week of classes... and, that's the reason I get to watch PGL at Istana Budaya tonight!!!
