Langkawi trip Day 1

We started the journey at around 7.40... reached Lisa's Yan's wedding reception at around 3pm. Pak Murah was already there with his family.

She was a beautiful, radiant bride, picture-perfect like a China doll, thus making the phrase 'ratu-sehari' fitting her like a glove....

We then reached ILP Kangar at around 6.15, well-fed along the way with breath-taking, sprawling acres of sawah padi surrounded by lush, frosted hills... ahhhh, pure bliss of kampung life long gone in cities like Shah Alam...

That nite, we headed for the Kuala Perlis' famous ikan bakar, but the place was chokeful with out-of-town revellers, so we had no choice but to head elsewhere.. the air was cool, we shivered while waiting for the food which took soooooo long to prepare... but the food somehow made up for the slow service!
